New Casino to Seaside City?
If the members of Seaside City will agree the submission will go to the Casino Advisory Panel, which will suggest areas for one local, eight large and eight small casinos to be build. This is a hot casino news since many operators within the gaming industry have expressed their interest in getting involved with this project.
Council Member Edd Horas has commented and pressed how important this project is for local tourism and economics: "with the help of a regional casino area we can promote more tourists to visit Seaside city every year without any difficulty.
Swansea Council second-in-command leader Gerald Clement believed a casino possibly will convey "enormous" economic benefits. But the Salvation Army has worries about the impact gambling has on family life.
